What exactly is Kwoot?
Kwoot is software designed for restaurants that manage private events and private events. It replaces the email + spreadsheet + PDF method with a complete journey.
Who is Kwoot for?
To restaurants, hotel-restaurants, rooftops, bars that can be book privatelyd and reception rooms which regularly receive group requests.
How is Kwoot different from a traditional contact form or booking tool?
A contact form collects a message. Kwoot collects a complete file with spaces, menus, drinks, extras and real-time calculation.
Does Kwoot replace my POS software?
No. Kwoot covers the cycle from initial inquiry to event confirmation. It does not replace the cash register or traditional table reservations.

How does the quote wizard work?
The quote wizard is a public multi-step form. The customer configures their event and sees the price in real time according to your rules. Upon submission, a complete file arrives in the admin.
Does the quote wizard work on mobile?
Yes. The quote wizard is fully responsive and optimized for smartphones.
Is the electronic signature legally valid?
The Kwoot signature is time-stamped, linked to a secure single-use link and archived in the file. For contracts requiring a qualified advanced signature, consult your legal advisor.
Does Kwoot handle credit card payments?
Not yet. Kwoot generates bank transfer instructions and tracks payments that you record manually.
Can we have several administrators?
Yes. The software subscription covers the accounts needed for a restaurant team. Multi-establishment configurations are handled by quote.
Can you integrate the quote wizard on your own website?
Yes. The quote wizard has its own public URL, and an iframe integration is also available.
Customizing the app
What can you customize in Kwoot?
You can customize the logo, main color, restaurant information, messages, menus, drinks, extras, spaces, minimum spend rules, availability, terms, documents and payment instructions.
Where are the logo, color and message changes made?
They are done from the restaurant settings. These settings are then reflected in the quote wizard, the customer portal, quotes and communications visible to the customer.
Can Kwoot be adapted to several types of events?
Yes. You can create menus, drinks, extras, spaces and different rules for a cocktail, a seated dinner, a seminar or a complete private event.
Is there a guide with screenshots?
Yes. The Resources page contains a visual guide “Customize Kwoot from A to Z” with all admin settings and several step-by-step screenshots.
Configuration & onboarding
How long does it take to set up Kwoot?
Most restaurants are up and running within an hour.
Is training required to use Kwoot?
No. The admin interface is designed to be intuitive. The software subscription includes guided onboarding.
Can we migrate from another tool?
Yes. Kwoot allows you to import your existing customers in CSV and the team can support more complex migrations.
Can we test Kwoot before subscribing?
Yes. A 30-day free trial of Kwoot software is available, with no credit card required.
Prices & billing
What are Kwoot’s prices?
Kwoot software costs 100 CHF per month in Switzerland or 100 EUR per month in France. A Google Ads and Meta Ads local acquisition option is available at +60 CHF/EUR per month.
Is there a minimum commitment?
No for monthly software subscription. For local acquisition, a test of at least 3 months is recommended to collect enough data.
Can we cancel at any time?
Yes for monthly software subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Are there any hidden fees or variable costs?
The software is fixed and commission-free. For the acquisition option, the Google, Instagram or Facebook advertising budget is paid separately by the restaurant.
Security & data
Where is my data stored?
The data is hosted on the Supabase infrastructure in the EU West region.
Is my data isolated from other restaurants?
Yes. Kwoot uses PostgreSQL Row-Level Security to isolate each restaurant.
Is Kwoot GDPR compliant?
Yes. Customer data is stored in the EU, exportable and deleteable on request.
What happens if I cancel my account?
You can export your data before termination. After the grace period, they are deleted according to our retention policy.
